OK, so it's not exactly bubble wrap, but it looks like construction crews working on a new residential building at the corner of North Kingsbury Street and West Huron Street in River North were nice enough to cover a group of parked cars, presumably to protect them from dust and bits of concrete from the work zone.
Of course, for all we know, those cars could belong to the construction workers and they're just taking advantage of restricted parking spaces.
Funny picture. I doubt that little plastic barrier will do much to protect those cars from a huge chunk of concrete though.

ReplyDeleteImagine if every sector of our society was so conscientious of the needs of others. Sometimes it's the little things that define a people. Like the way valets in Japan wear white gloves and put down their own mats in your car so they don't make it dirty. It's mostly symbolic, but the show of respect is appreciated.
First, its *conscious* of others. Second, it wasn't done out of consciousness of others needs. Its because of lawsuit liability.
