Ran across this scene a little while ago. Someone posted a note in their window reading, "Officer, Please don't ticket my car for no front plate. It was stolen and I have applied for a new plate. Thank you."
I thought the "Officer" salutation was interesting. Do police officers still write tickets, or is parking enforcement all civilians and private companies now?
