It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas (2009 Edition, Part 12)



Pop-up stores are the big thing in New York this year.  Chicago had a bunch of them last year, and a couple have shown up this year.  This one was run by eBay and positioned outside of the Tribune Tower (435 North Michigan Avenue), but only for a few hours.

Microsoft also had one nearby in the Tribune Tower annex (formerly the Hammacher Schlemmer store, formerly the WGN Building).  It was pimping one of those play-along-with-the-band games on the Xbox platform.
